Recommitting To Self-Care In 2016!

2015 like years of the past was full of joy, excitement, sadness, and growth. I always look forward to the New Year, not for resolutions but new beginnings and a fresh perspective on life. Every six months I check in with myself about what is and isn't working in my life. While my self-care practice is present, I want to work on expanding my self-care and dig deeper into self-love and acceptance in 2016!

In the new year I am committing to:

  1. Journaling

  2. Taking one day off a week

  3. Start my yoga practice

  4. Take myself on a self-care date once a month to get a massage or go to Reiki

  5. Add more whole foods into my diet, think lots and lots of greens!

  6. Meditate daily

  7. Powering down all electronics at least 1 hour before bed

  8. Give myself permission to let go and lean into the things that make me happy

  9. Bake more

  10. Positive self-talk
